American Timber Rail

Check out our new American Timber Rail! Our American Timber Rail is a low cost solution when your job wants the rustic look, but doesn’t require the high strength of our popular, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) approved, Steel Backed Timber Guardrail.

American Timber Rail is available using round or square timbers. All timbers are made from our high strength, Southern Yellow Pine and treated with 0.60 lbs. per cubic foot of Cooper Chromated Arsenate, so they will last for decades. All of the wood products are surfaced for a uniform look. The round wood posts have a dome top and the square posts have a chamfered top, giving them a great looking, attractive, finished appearance. The 6 foot on center post spacing and 12 foot splicing makes this an “easy to assemble” guide railing system.

All of the plates and hardware are made from weathering steel, which will give you the “rustic look” you desire. And, did we forget to mention that our American Timber Rail is “Made in America”?
