Box Beam Sign Posts

American Timber and Steel has recently added Box Beam Sign Posts to our product line. These very strong Box Beam Posts are manufactured utilizing thin layers of veneer, glued together into long panels. American Timber and Steel then cuts and glues these panels into a box beam up to 40’ long. These Box Beam Posts are then treated with a Light Pentachlorophenol Type C to a retention of 0.50 lbs. per cubic foot in order to meet the American Wood Preservers Association Standards. The posts are then stained and sealed to a very rich brown tone. These posts are available as 8 x 8’s and 8 x 14’s depending on the sign you are installing. The posts are easily field drilled and cut in order to be utilized as break-away supports.
