guardrail end terminal - installedAmerican Timber and Steel offers a complete line of energy absorbing Crash Cushions and End Terminals. These cushions are placed at the beginning and/or end of a guard rail run. When hit head on, these cushions are designed to absorb much of the vehicles forward energy so that the vehicle comes to a controlled stop. When the cushion systems are hit from the side, they act as normal guard rail and help redirect the vehicle towards its original path.

These systems have been tested and approved in accordance with the Federal Highway Administrations NCHRP 350 test standards. Each system has its own features and benefits, so choose the one that is right for your needs.
