The saddle cut top posts of our Log Rail System help make installation a breeze: Set the 5-foot posts about 3-feet deep, place the timber rails snugly on top of the saddle cut posts, and fasten with our heavy-duty structural screws. Only installations around curves will need the rail ends trimmed for a perfect fit.

Our standard Log Rail system sizes range from a 6-inch to a 12-inch diameter rail, with the posts made slightly smaller.

Our Southern Yellow Pine posts and rails are “turned,” giving them a smoother finish. We treat our Log Rail timber with environmentally friendly CA-C preservative to last for decades.
