Our Round American Timber Rail was specially designed as a cost-effective solution for applications that do not need need the crash rating of our Steel-Backed Log Guardrail – yet it looks great and offers the protective barrier needed in areas like parking lots, parks, along driveways, pathways, and bikeways.
The trimmed flat edge on the back of the 7-inch by 12-foot rail helps in assembling the guide rail, using the same 6-foot on center post spacing and 12-foot splicing as our square system. Using steel plates at each round post, with a domed top, our Round American Timber Rail offers a strong, rustic, and cost-effective barrier.
Material Specification
The dome top on our 7-inch round posts offers an attractive finishing touch while the Southern Yellow Pine provides proven reliable strength. All the plates and hardware are made from weathering steel for a rustic appeal.
To ensure the longest service life, our Round American Timber Rail systems are pressure treated with CCA to 0.60 retention or CA-C upon request.
