Harpersfield Covered Bridge Rehabilitation
The rehabilitation of the historic Harpersfield Covered Bridge enhances this National Register of Historic Places landmark for future generations. Originally built in 1867, this Howe Truss bridge spans the Grand River in Ashtabula County and required comprehensive restoration, including temporary shoring, rebuilding trusses, new floor beams and deck, new roof trusses, siding, and roofing.
American Timber and Steel provided the following materials for the build:
- Custom sawn, planed, and treated timbers to meet project specifications
- Lumber for truss reconstruction
- Materials for floor beams and decking
- Timber components for roof trusses
